A Reflection Post Time reail files fast &. I'm already 17 years old. Still rmb the time when I was in sec 1 when everything and everyone in YCKSS is like a stranger. How lonely I'm in sch wif noone to depend on I can only trust me, myself &. myself. As times take it's steps one by one, I found friends and also a place for myself in YCKSS & NPCC.
Friends are people whom plays an important part in my life I can't imaged my life without friends. It should be like a dead body walkin around &. this is not the feel which I wants to have. Seriously speaking, true friends are hard to find friends come and goes like wind blowing through. People seem to be friends wif you but in fact they can betrayed you behind your back. This is how true life is & I had experienced this before but these of course except true friends.
True friends are friends who will be there for you in times of ups and downs ?! Regardless of where, what and when you are experiencing difficulities frankly speaking, true friends in my life are mostly people from NPCC. They are not only squadmates but also TRUE friends they understands you, your thoughs and mind too. They do everything and anything wif me silly stuffs, serious stuffs and even studies stuffs.
National Police Cadet Corps, NPCC made the four years in secondary life more meaningful and memorable. The orientation which all of us went through to get into NPCC from running round e big field & also stayin in e stuffy tent. NPCC in other people's eyes are just a boring and tiring cca which makes us do pumpings, drills under the hot sun. We started from stretch learning drills, pt and trainings but the process of doing all these are what is important. The spirit and goal of NPCC 'One for all and all for One' 'PICARD' with this spirit which brings us through Parades, Camps and Competitions. We smile and laugh together and also cried and suffer together this is what other people don't understand in us. NCOSquad 06/07, NPDP 06, DrillCom 07, MountOphir 07, FancyDrill team 06, POP 07 &. the list goes on.. are all the events which will stand firm in my heart for life.
Perservanceis what I learnt most Rmb the time where we are all training for MountOphir trip we r suppose to meet up in sch thn run to UpperPierce Reservoir. Around 8 guys and I wif mslow were present we ran from yck to upperpierce to lowerpierce before walkin back to yck although along the way thru I though I was unable to run at longer but with perservance I sucessed and I didn't stop for e whole trip. We also managed to climb Mount Ophir wif Perservance not forgetting the support and help from one another throughout the climb.
Achieving the SI rank, SPF-NPCC and BUC badge take a step higher being a logistic head, is another thing I'm proud of. These achievements make me feel great [not boasting here] it show the acknowlegement from officers like Mr Tan. (: Recently, I kind of regretted not going for CI course last year make me feel lost in life. Not able to continue with NPCC life Whenever I hear the drum-roll sound, commands and people wearin np tee I want to go back to see how the unit is doing. Think I will take sometime to stop myself from thinkin of all these maybe by occuping myself with a new cca or wat. Lol.
